Two Lithographics of Bamboo presents a paired botanical study rooted in Japanese graphic tradition. Slender canes rise with graceful verticality, their jointed stems and feathered leaves rendered in precise, economical lines. The composition is deliberately calm — negative space does as much work as the drawn forms, guiding the eye upward in a rhythm that feels both natural and carefully arranged. The restrained palette and clean linework reflect the aesthetic ideals of Japanese botanical illustration, where accuracy and artistic refinement coexist.
