Fogs Up No.4 closes the series with compression — the forms that rose and dissipated across the earlier works now consolidate into a single dense mass occupying the lower two-thirds of the composition. Henry Hu works the surface heavily here, marks building on marks until the grey approaches black at the centre. The upper register remains open, a pale expanse that reads as release rather than emptiness. There is a sense of conclusion: the fog has gathered, settled, and stopped moving. Of the four, this is the work with the most physical weight.
